When you want to drink tea, but don’t know where to begin
Amid the pace of modern life, enjoying tea can be a way to give ourselves a few slow moments, to savour the flavour and enjoy some time of our own.
Yet not everyone who wants to drink tea knows where to begin.
We noticed that many young people are curious and eager to explore the world of tea, yet feel unsure when faced with choices such as Hồng trà, Lục trà, Bancha or Bạch trà.
Which tea is bold, which is light? Which is more astringent? Which flavour suits a beginner? And most importantly,
how can you know which tea you truly like if you have never tried it?
These seemingly simple questions can sometimes become a barrier that makes newcomers hesitate to begin.

Sương Trà was born from a simple question
“If you don’t yet know which tea you like, why not try each one before choosing?”
Wanting to help young people approach tea more easily, we began building Sương Trà – a project that aims to turn the journey of learning about tea into an experience that is approachable, easy to understand and personal.
Instead of buying a large box of tea straight away when you are not yet sure you love its flavour, you can begin with a tasting set of four Shan Tuyết teas: Hồng trà, Lục trà, Bancha and Bạch trà.
Each tea offers its own experience of aroma, liquor colour, strength, astringency and aftertaste.
Cup by cup, you can compare and taste for yourself, and gradually recognise which flavour suits your own preferences.
At Sương Trà, choosing a tea is never a matter of right or wrong — it is a journey to find what you truly love.
03Chapter
Bringing the aroma of Shan Tuyết tea closer to young people
Sương Trà chooses Shan Tuyết tea from the Suối Giàng region, where the tradition of growing and processing tea is closely bound up with the lives of the people of the mountains.
We want to introduce the flavours of tea from that land to young people in a new way: without the weight of expertise or complicated rules of tea appreciation, starting instead from curiosity and hands-on experience.
Beyond tasting sets, Sương Trà also shares information about the character of each tea, brewing guides and creative drink recipes.
Because we believe that, by understanding tea better and having the chance to experience many flavours, everyone will feel more confident choosing the tea that suits them.

Because the journey of loving tea doesn’t have to begin with knowledge.
